Mare Mare

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort

This casual, poolside spot takes its name from the Italian word for sea. With views of the water and an outdoor terrace, it’s the perfect spot to kick back while enjoying classic Italian dishes. Menu highlights include a raw bar with a seafood tower, oysters and seabass carpaccio to start. You can also get mushroom risotto, seafood spaghetti, gourmet pizza, chargrilled T-bone steak and polish it all off with an Italian dessert.

Tean

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort

Tean is the hotel’s signature Levantine-inspired restaurant. Head there for spiced meats and seafood the Middle Eastern way. The menu is split into Lebanese, Greek and Turkish cuisine with loads of options to choose from. Signature dishes include the whole marinated wild Greek seabass with ratte potato and grilled vegetables; slow-roasted Australian lamb shoulder with grilled vegetables and saffron rice; and the Dajaj Kabsa with organic chicken, Arabic spiced rice and yogurt sauce.

White

White is a sustainable restaurant serving dishes from all around the world. The food is prepared at live cooking stations and the restaurant features upbeat vibes and plenty of incredible plates to tuck into. White also serves brunch on Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm with live entertainment and food from around the world. Prices start at Dhs350 and kids aged six to 11 eat for 50 percent off while kids under six eat for free.

Majlis

This is a popular meeting place that offers afternoon tea, premium teas, patisseries, and other light refreshments; it is located on the lobby level. Afternoon tea is on from 2pm to 4pm daily.

The Lobster Lounge

Love seafood? This rooftop restaurant brings an exceptional dining experience in a bustling setting. Head there for dramatic views of the Arabian Gulf and stay for the lobster, of course. Menu highlights include whole lobster thermidor, the lobster lounge shushi roll, shrimp dynamite cone and octopus sashimi.

Offside

Saadiyat Island’s only sports lounge is welcome to anyone joining for a drink or food. Love going out but hate leaving your best friend at home? Offside is dog-friendly, so you can bring Fido. Menu highlights include subs, sandwiches and sliders plus fish and chips, chicken parma and steak.
