Tori No Su reopens with a delectable new menu

Partner content: After a summer break, the award-winning Japanese restaurant is back

Here’s yet another reason to look forward to the winter: Tori No Su is reopening with an incredible new menu and even more ambience.

The Etihad Towers hotspot is known for its style and that is carried right through to the latest menu by chef Yosuke Matsuoka. The edited list features the best of the best, and it already has our mouths watering just thinking about it.

Start your meal (and evening) off with maki rolls, snow crab avocado tofu salad and edamame, of course. The refreshing salad contains a zingy mix of coriander, baby gem lettuce and green chili drizzled with a garlic soy dressing.

The Japanese-trained chef’s favourite Wagyu Sando uses only premium products, including MB7 Tajima Wagyu Tenderloin cutlet. It’s nestled between wasabi cress, Japanese premium yellow mustard and Japanese mayo on brioche that’s made daily in house. We are already dreaming about it.

Wash the sandwich down with one of the mixed drinks from the new menu. We suggest one of Tori No Su’s signatures or select from a range of grapes, including white, red and blush.

Mocktails are fresh and fruity and feature old favourites like Shirley Temple and Fruit Punch. Just make sure you leave room for mochi ice cream, especially the matcha version.
Funky Japanese pop music brings a more relaxed and casual bar vibe to the space along with more new additions to the Insta-worthy venue.

Go for after-work drinks and the evening will slip away as you eat and sip while bobbing along to the tunes. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Open Wed-Mon 7pm-midnight. Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, Corniche Rd (02 811 5666).
