Bvlgari Resort Dubai

Mediterranean island vibes with perfect beaches and a secret lemon garden

Why head for a hotel when you could experience a private island?

Having opened in December 2017, the hotel brings all the the benefits of island life – it’s even carved into the shape of a seahorse – while also being just two minutes away from the coastline by bridge.

The vibe here is that of a charming Mediterranean village, with the enormous island featuring six different residential buildings, as well as private mansions and its own marina. If all of that gets too much, take a moment in La Limonaia, the secret lemon-tree garden that offers a private, country garden space inspired by old Italy.

The resort’s villas, sized at 170 sq m to 540 sq m, are a real way to treat yourself. Expect a huge living area, a sunken bath tub, a private garden, a large outdoor swimming pool and a personal butler.

Elsewhere, there’s a 1,700 sq m Bvlgari Spa, offering eight treatment rooms, a 25-metre indoor pool with a sea view through floor-to-ceiling windows, a range of treatments as well as a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

If you’re looking to dine don’t miss Il Ristorante from Italian chef Niko Romito or traditional Japanese Hōseki (which picked up a Highly Commended gong in the Japanese category at Time Out Dubai’s 2019 Restaurant Awards), which has just nine seats – so be sure to book.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a private island without crystal-clear waters and perfect sands, so guests can make full use of the La Spiagga beach club. We’ll see you by swanning by the sea.
