In pictures: Sneak peek inside Abu Dhabi’s new Grand Hyatt

Capital’s newest luxury hotel to open in June 2018

We’ve been given a sneak peek inside Abu Dhabi’s newest luxury hotel and it looks amazing.

The Grand Hyatt sits on Corniche West next to Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and will open in June 2018.

But excitement is already building ahead of the launch and these photos are sure to whet a lot of appetites.

There will be six restaurant and bars inside the hotel, a pool, a spa, an indoor/outdoor fitness centre and a club lounge with cinema inside.

For anyone who fancies staying over, there will be 428 rooms and 36 suites. If you like it so much you want to move in, there are 60 one- and two-bedrooms residences, too.

The restaurants in the hotel, which is called Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl, to give it its full name, include Italian venue Verso and Pearl Lounge, both of which will open at the same time as the property.

Following those will be four more venues including a Japanese izakaya-style offering and a grape and charcuterie bar.

One floor will be given over to relaxation and leisure, featuring a Lum’a Spa (which has separate male and female areas, a hammam, sauna and steam rooms), a gym with outdoor terrace, a 50-metre infinity pool, kids pool and plunge pool. There will also be a rooftop pool for adults only.

The Grand Club Lounge on the 26th floor will have two private viewing cinemas with waiter service.

General manager Julien Gonzalvez said: “Our new luxury hotel will captivate with contemporary Arabesque interior – the grand lobby has been designed to illustrate a modern reflection of a Bedouin desert camp, with spectacular sand dune inspired artwork adorning the wall, and white curtains flowing like an Emirati kandoura.”

We can’t wait until it’s open for business.
