An all-new island resort is opening on Dubai’s World Islands

Start packing those bags

An island getaway, you say? Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is opening the very first resort on Dubai’s World Islands – and it looks stunning.

Located just four kilometres off the coast of Dubai, the new destination is the first hotel in the South American continent of the World Islands development, and the island will be completely dedicated to Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort.

Made up of 70 suites, beach and pool villas, the island resort will also be home to a luxe spa, fully-equipped gym, and dedicated kids’ club, plus plenty of flora and fauna for those all-important island vibes and the resort can be accessed by boat and is just a 15-minute jaunt from the jetty at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort.

There will also be a Mediterranean-style al fresco restaurant and Arabic-Indian eatery – perfect for both romantic dinners and barbecues on the beach, plus a bar lounge boasting panoramic views of the Dubai skyline – Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah included.

“Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort will be the first hotel to open on this archipelago, offering guests a truly memorable escape just off the coast of Dubai,” said Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels (the parent company of Anantara).

“Showcasing Anantara’s authentic luxury while maintaining a tropical island vibe, the resort is a unique proposition for this location. Guests will be able to experience the wonder of Dubai and the ambiance of an island sanctuary, all in this stunning new Anantara resort,” he added.
