How to get there
The circuit is about 25 minutes’ drive from the main island, with most roads well signposted. There’s limited parking and it’s about Dhs70 from downtown by taxi. Buses will also be organised to transport visitors to and from the circuit, look out for times and details to be announced on the www.yasmarinacircuit.ae closer to the time.

Support races
The final Formula One race is on the Sunday, but throughout the weekend there will be a number of support races to stop your mind wandering off. Firstly, there’s the GP2 Asia Series, which is the format of racing just below GP1, hence it’s a training ground for rising stars, and there’s also the Porsche GP3, in which German supercars battle it out.

Entertainment
Formula One in Abu Dhabi also means a chance to hear some great music and entertainment organisers, Flash have lured some of the biggest acts in the world for the weekend. As well as the circuit itself hosting the likes of Prince and Kanye West, the Corniche will be playing host to a vast array of musical acts to suit almost all tastes, from Lebanese songstress Nancy Ajram, to sultry British popster Sophie Ellis Bextor to reggae remixers Easy All Stars.

After parties
Formula One means celeb-packed parties.

For the kids
Formula One is also all about getting the youngsters involved. The F1™ Zone on the Corniche will show family movies, while the area screening the live races will have fun and games for kids.

TV schedule
The ticketless need not miss out and you can watch on Abu Dhabi TV or find a spot on the Corniche where both the Brazil and Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be screened live.

Tickets are available on the circuit website www.yasmarinacircuit.ae or by contacting 800 927. Also available at the Etihad Holidays offices at Abu Dhabi, Khalidiya and Marina malls. Ticket prices start from Dhs2,000 for a three-day pass, with free parking.
