An environmentally-friendly Christmas isn’t restricted to recycling plastic bags and wrapping paper – you can now recycle your Christmas tree here in the UAE, for free.
ACE has launched a brand-new Tree-Cycle Programme and everyone can get involved – no matter where you’ve purchased your Christmas tree from.
To help offset festive carbon footprint, the environmentally-friendly Christmas tree recycling initiative is running between Saturday January 2 and Saturday January 16 and your beautiful tree will be converted into compost – you just need to make sure your tree is real, clean and undecorated.
All you need to do is drop your real Christmas tree off at selected ACE stores across the UAE including Dubai Festival City, the brand-new branch in Dubai Festival Plaza and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall and they’ll recycle it free of charge.
ACE’s Tree-Cycle programme is a partnership with Y.E.S (Your Environmental Savings) Full Circle – an international, tech-based, climate change, and circular economy platform that supports people and organisations to become more sustainable.
