Brick building in the UAE has just become a whole lot more fun thanks to the brand-new LEGO Hidden Side sets that have just launched in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Cleverly combining the technology of augmented reality with LEGO masterbuilding (we can see the glee on their little faces now) the Hidden Side sets blur the lines between physical and virtual play.
There are eight sets available, including a spooky high school that is perfect for Halloween – for little creatives aged seven and over to build.
It’s all pretty simple, at least we hazard a guess that the kids will think so given their superior knowledge when it comes to technology.
First download the app (available on both iOS and Android). Then set little masterbuilders to task creating their chosen set.
Once the hard work is done, they can use the app to scan their completed model to find all sorts of exciting hidden items.
Plus there will be regular updates online meaning ongoing fun and new things to discover.
Everything really is awesome.
