A virtual education expo is coming to the UAE

Students can find out about studying abroad

Kids fancy furthering their education in Sydney, Paris, London or Rome?

A virtual education expo is coming to the UAE that will help students make important decisions about their future.

The three-day IDP education expo will take place online between 9am and 9pm from Thursday October 22 to Saturday October 24.

Representatives from more than 110 of the world’s leading universities and higher education institutions will be on hand to answer any burning questions and to offer advice.

In light of the global pandemic, the annual Study Abroad Roadshow Expo will still go ahead, but will take place virtually rather than in person meaning kids can explore their educational options from the comfort of their sofas (which may be more appealing to a lot of teens anyway).

Students can access loads of important information and support from guidance on which course to choose and how to do their university applications to getting assistance with booking their accommodation and will also be able to virtually explore campuses and meet the staff.

Country director of IDP Education, Rashi Bhattacharya, said: “The virtual expo offers the opportunity for parents and students to address all their queries about studying abroad, including virtual campus tours all within one platform. During the expo parents and students can speak to the universities through chat or video call about procedures they have set in place for ensure their courses and studies run seamlessly. We will have representatives from government and peak bodies such as such as Austrade and Enterprise Ireland attending the expo who will be available to answer any questions.”

The future could be bright.
