It usually takes place in a warehouse but due to restrictions dictated by the global pandemic, the annual book fest became a virtual event this year for the first time ever.
Now on until January 31, there are some 250,000 books for UAE parents to choose from at www.noon.com with huge discounts of up to 90 percent on selected titles.
The organisers are promising even more markdowns in the final few days of the sale where some classic books and popular read will be available from as little as Dhs4.99.
Buying children’s books in the UAE can set parents back quite a few dirhams, but the annual sale means they can grab a bargain for their little readers.
And it’s not just children’s books on offer. In addition to children and young adults books, mums and dads can also browse various other categories including business, fiction, cookery, biographies, health and wellness, history, art, architecture and photography.
