The Wind in the Willows is coming to Dubai’s QE2

All aboard for this family production of the classic story

Want to simply mess around on the river (or in this case the calm waters of Port Rashid) with a rat, a mole, a toad and a badger? Then head to the QE2.

A live performance of one of the most beloved children’s classics of all time is coming to Theatre by QE2 between Friday October 11 and Saturday 19 with a show that all the family will enjoy.

Kenneth Grahame’s story follows the tale of the notorious Mr Toad whose love of motorcars lands him in a spot of bother. His home (and cars) are under threat from Chief Weasel and the Wild Wooders, and he has to turn to his friends Ratty, Mole and the wise old Badger to save him and Toad Hall.

The heart-warming tale is brought to life by a cast of performers from the UK who will be singing and dancing their way into your hearts. The show costs Dhs150 for adults and Dhs120 for children aged 12 and under.

And if you’d like to have a chat with Mr Toad himself, then join him at Toad Hall for a special afternoon tea fit for the most well-turned out guests either before or after the performance. Meet all the characters over a hearty buffet for Dhs135 for adults and Dhs65 for kids 12 and under.

There’s nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as messing about in boats…
