The end of Expo 2020 Dubai is around the corner but that doesn’t mean the world’s greatest show is out of surprises. As the weather starts to heat up, a new indoor entertainment area has opened for kids and big kids: The Family Place.
The Family Place opened on Saturday March 5; there you’ll find activities and a family-friendly café for the entire gang to enjoy. The new venue is located next to Al Forsan Park and has play-and-learn activities that introduce the kiddos to nature.
The Maker Racer is one activity aimed at kids aged seven to 14. Kids visiting The Family Place get to build their own mini car from natural and recycled materials. Once the car is ready, little ones can test their skills on the speed and jump tracks with a leaderboard to keep score of the best times.
The Family Place isn’t the only kid-friendly spot at Expo 2020 Dubai. Expo recently unveiled a brand new pavilion: the Gotham City Pavilion, for fans of The Batman. Take the kids to the shadowy world of Gotham and work together to save the city by solving a series of riddles. The pop-up pavilion is located in the Opportunity District.

Expo 2020 Dubai has also unveiled a new way for families to enjoy exploring the park: the Expo white passport. The limited-edition memento is available to anyone who has collected 100 or more pavilion stamps – and it is completely free.
All you need to do is present your existing yellow passport with at least 100 stamps inside at any visitor centre and you will receive the Expo white passport for free. Sounds like the perfect excuse to explore more at Expo 2020 Dubai.
