Rolls Royce unveils new Abu Dhabi-inspired Phantom range

When it comes to pimping rides, most of us are happy with the touch of class that comes with a set of go faster stripes and a snazzy steering wheel cover. But in a city where one-upmanship is a way of life, you’ve got to really pull out the stops to get heads turning as you cruise along the Corniche.

And if money’s no object, you won’t go far wrong with Rolls-Royce’s two newly unveiled special edition Phantoms, both of which come complete with aesthetic nods to Abu Dhabi. The four-door version is apparently inspired by the western Baynunah region (it’s sand-coloured, basically) while the coupé boasts falcon motifs embroidered onto the headrests.

It’s probably not the sort of thing that’d impress Tim Westwood, but if you feel the need to salute the capital as you nip out for your groceries, it’s the ultimate statement.
