While a good pub quiz always makes for an entertaining evening out, we can’t help but feel that we could be doing something more worthwhile with our lives as we light the shisha and argue over who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1973.
Thankfully, there’s an evening on the horizon set to appease both your social conscience and your thirst for obscure cinematic trivia. Trivia Olympics is happening Tuesday September 14 from 6:30pm at Left Bank – a particularly swanky bar located in the Qaryat Al Beri Souk. It’s Dhs60 to get in, which includes a charity donation as well as your first drink. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to those affected by the Pakistan floods, while you and your team stand to win spot prizes for getting questions right, or simply having the most amusing name.
