David Guetta confirmed for Creamfields

The world’s biggest DJ is booked for Abu Dhabi’s annual dance-fest

They’re like buses, those DJs. Well, not really. Buses are hulking great vehicles with tires and windows that carry people about town, whereas DJs are typically humans with cool haircuts and rad dress sense. But as analogies for things that come along in abundance after a long wait, it’ll just have to do. Because, hot on the heels of Judge Jules and Tiesto, French booth-dweller David Guetta has just been announced as the latest deck maestro to book a trip to Abu Dhabi. He’s been confirmed as the headline act at this year’s Creamfields festival, taking place at Yas Arena on December 9. It’s the latest in a long line of huge shows for Guetta, who’s worked with the likes of Madonna and The Black Eyed Peas, and won a Grammy for fourth album One Love earlier this year.

Standard tickets for the show cost Dhs250, but you’ll get 20 per cent off if you buy before October 1. Better still, those who’ve bought or plan to buy tickets to see Tiesto’s show at Adnec will get a 40 per cent discount, knocking the price down to Dhs150. Head to www.timeouttickets.com to get yours.
