More events revealed for Abu Dhabi F1 weekend

Dates, times and side attractions are now finalised say organisers

Visitors to Yas Marina Circuit this weekend are unlikely to be bored. Not only will they be able to witness what will be an electrifying climax to the F1 season, with the winner of the drivers’ championship being decided right here in Abu Dhabi, but there will also be a vast array of activities and entertainment going on throughout the three day event.
Spectators will be able to try out a new go-karting track, see concerts by world famous artists, enjoy thrilling support races from GP2 and Porsche racing cars and take part in break dancing and skateboarding workshops. Visitors can also expect bungee trampolines, nail art stations and a climbing wall.
There will also be a chance to meet and grab autographs from your favourite drivers, try your gaming skills in an arcade zone and listen to live music. The full list of events throughout the three days of racing is as follows:

Thursday, November 11
Noon – gates and F1 Village open
2pm-6pm – public pit lane walk
1am – venue closes

Friday, November 12
10am – gates open
10.30am – GP2 practice session
11.30am – Porsche GT3 practice session
1pm – F1 first practice session
2.55pm – GP2 qualifying session
5pm – F1 second practice session
6.30pm – concert doors open
9pm – Kanye West concert starts
1am – venue closes

Saturday, November 13
10am – gates open
11pm – GP2 first race
12.45pm – Porsche GT3 qualifying session
2pm – F1 third practice session
5pm – F1 qualifying session
6pm – concert doors open
9pm – Linkin Park concert starts
1am – venue closes

Sunday, November 14
10am – gates open
1.30pm – GP2 second race
2.45pm – Porsche GT3 second race
