With the large amount of impatient, pushy customers in the city, Abu Dhabi’s waiters and waitresses who aren’t fast on their feet don’t survive in their jobs for long.
But on April 23 at Khalifa Park, there will be a chance to prove once and for all who really is the speediest server in the capital with the first ever Abu Dhabi Waiter Race.
The event takes place in the park’s amphitheatre from 2pm, and as well as watching the waiters sprint along a track carrying a serving tray, you’ll also be able to enjoy DJs’ and other entertainment, and have the chance to pick up prizes.
