Amr Diab to play Abu Dhabi

Arab World’s best-selling musician on same bill as Shakira

Yesterday we broke the news that Snoop Dogg and Shakira are coming to play in Abu Dhabi in the next few weeks.
Today, we can reveal that Shakira will be joined at her Yas Island gig on April 29 by Egyptian singing legend Amr Diab.
Amr’s blend of Middle Eastern tunes with Western instruments has seen him shift 50 million records in the three decades he’s been performing.
He’s possibly the most popular singing star in the Middle East (although Nancy Ajram fans may disagree), so expect his concert to sell out extra fast, especially with the added draw of Colombian warbler Shakira on the same bill.
