Bulky: If you’re after something a bit sturdier, opt for a 4×4. National Car Rental offer Ford Explorers for Dhs600 a day, including basic insurance, or a Ford Expedition for Dhs750 a day. Drivers must be over 21 years old, and hold a UAE or international driving licence. A national ID or passport and visa is required, as well as a credit card deposit of Dhs1,000.
