Luxury glass hotel on Airport Road set for launch in fourth quarter of 2011

You’ve probably driven past the striking, curved glass structure at the end of Airport Road numerous times and wondered when it would open. Now its owner, luxury hotel brand Rocco Forte, has announced that the project’s on track to be finished by the fourth quarter of 2111.

The 11-storey building will have a wave-shaped tower, with a blue and blue and green glass façade and will be surrounded by beautiful public gardens and have an adjacent shopping gallery full of luxury stores. Inside, the hotel will have 281 luxury rooms, a high-end, 2,000 sq m spa, fully-equipped gymnasium and yoga and pilates studio.

In terms of dining options, there will be modern Far Eastern restaurant, a poolside South American bar and an Italian à la carte restaurant. There will also be a Sky Bar, on the glass-walled sixth floor of the hotel’s ten-story atrium.
