Swift sales for Abu Dhabi F1 tickets

More than 40 per cent of tickets for Yas Marina Grand Prix sell in a week

Although tickets have only been on sale for a week, organisers of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix say there’s already been a massive rush to purchase them. Since they hit the market on April 28, almost half the grandstand tickets at Yas Marina Circuit have been snapped up by eager motorsports fans.Richard Cregan, CEO of Abu Motorsports Management, described the response as ‘encouraging’.
The race, which is the penultimate F1 Grand Prix of the season, takes place on Yas Marina Circuit on November 13, with practice sessions and qualifying on the preceding two days.

Grandstand tickets cost Dhs1,800 for two days and Dhs2,000 for three days, with a 20 per cent discount on these until May 31. Premium ‘Category 1′ tickets cost Dhs4,250, while Paddock Club tickets start at Dhs16,900. Call 800 927 or visit www.yasmarinacircuit.ae for more information.
