25 things to do this week

The king of pop, bargain pampering, free car wash and much more

Thursday 9

Salute the King of Pop: Off-stage controversies aside, there’s no denying that Michael Jackson was the most iconic performer of his generation. Though it was conceived before his death, Thriller Live – a glitzy stage show based around the star’s biggest hits – is still a fitting tribute.

Have a bargain pampering session: Tips&Toes is offering an epic deal for summer that includes a mani-pedi, mini-facial, full body massage and a 100ml bottle of perfume to take home with you – all for Dhs560 (that batch of treatments would normally set you back Dhs700).

It’s not the sort of thing we’d recommend you subject your digestive system to every weekend, but if you’ve earned a treat, go ahead and eat, drink and be extremely merry.
