How did the opportunity come up to play in Abu Dhabi?
I’ve played at The Yacht Club before – that was my first time to visit the city and I came to discover how beautiful it is. I love playing in Abu Dhabi! It’s an international and multicultural destination with people from all around the world. Ever since, I’ve been back as often as my travelling allows and it never disappoints.
How would you describe your choice of music?
I would describe it as house and electronic music with a touch of disco and pop.
You’re launching your new album on November 30. What can we expect?
The name of the album is So Happy in Paris? by Michael Canitrot. It’s a great club mix including my singles ‘You and I’ and ‘When You Got Love’ with Ron Carroll. You will also find collaborations with Axwell, Fedde Le Grand and Cassius. I also included a bonus DVD with clips from our best parties in 2010 and my mix on the top of the Eiffel Tower!
What made you choose the The Yacht Club to launch it?
I think The Yacht Club is one of the best clubs in the Middle East. The clubbing scene is new and fresh. The energy is great and the clubbers are more curious. I can’t wait to rock it again!
You’ve been in touch with a few well-known artists on Twitter recently such as David Guetta and DJ Slider. Have you any interesting collaborations coming up?
Social media is a great tool that will open up a lot of new opportunities. I am working on a project which has a lot of surprises in store – but that’s all I can reveal for now.
What are you plans for next year?
After my tour, I’ll be heading back to the studio and working hard on new sounds.
