For the first time in the region, there will be a centre that takes a more holistic approach to health and treatment. Set to open in March 2013, the DNA Centre for Integrative Medicine and Wellness Centre will bring together the latest in Western cutting-edge medical techniques, as well as alternative remedies found in Eastern culture. Opening up at the St. Regis Resort on Saadiyat Island, this 10,000 square foot venue will offer treatment for diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases and much more. One of the services that will be offered for the first time will be genome testing, helping people to identify risks early on.
