3 things to do today in Abu Dhabi

Be generous or visit a cultural festival

Wednesday, July 17

Be generous: Enter into the spirit of Ramadan by making a donation to a worthy cause, such as Sushi Central’s Labourers in Mussafah project in partnership with Abu Dhabi Cause Connect. Sushi Central has become a collection point for used clothes, food and others items, which the team will then distribute to labourers in need. Until 5pm every day during Ramadan.

Visit a cultural festival: Throughout Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr the Emirates Heritage Club will be hosting a festival at the National Theatre. Featuring lectures, seminars, a Holy Qur’an recitation competition, music performances and a play for the kids, it’s all free to attend.
Abu Dhabi Corniche, Breakwater (050 273 2131).

Spot a dolphin: While it’s not guaranteed, there have been plenty of sightings on Saadiyat Island of these beautiful sea mammals. Even if you don’t see one of Flipper’s cousins though, a day of luxury lounging at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club might be just as fun.
