3 things to do today in Abu Dhabi

Triple up or learn some history

Friday, August 2

Learn some history: Throughout the month of Ramadan, ADIB is presenting a cultural exhibition showcasing three replicas of holy sites that are of historical and religious significance in Islamic history. This exhibit is free and open to the public at Emirates Palace, allowing visitors to learn about the sites’ origins, history and importance to Islamic culture and tradition.
Open every day from 8.30am to midnight Emirates Palace, Ras Al Akhdar (02 690 7725).

Triple up! Check out Le Royal Méridien’s Ramadan offer this summer. They’re offering a luxurious deluxe room for Dhs333 per person inclusive of breakfast, in-room wi-fi and buffet lunch or dinner. During Ramadan, fasting customers can enjoy the same package including iftar buffet and an in-room suhoor.

Try a new beach: Granted, you might want to visit at night right now what with the little bit of warm weather known as summer, but a new stretch of public beach has recently opened on the Corniche. The new section is 1.5km long and is open from 8am-2am.
