Happy new year! Or as they say in China, kung hei fat cho! Celebrate Chinese New Year – the year of the horse – with a ceremony featuring rhythmic dance performances, ceremonies and Chinese food. A special high tea ceremony will take place daily for one week starting today as well.

Go to a dragon boat race: Watch 40 teams duke it out in this dragon boat race and festival. This free festival features activities for the whole family such as children’s dragon mask making, face painting and temporary tattoos from 12pm to 6pm and then a DJ and Chinese lion dancer. Head down and cheer on your team!
