Reach enlightenment: Go to a lecture entitled ‘The Enlightenment’ at Global History tonight. This talk will explain how the history of Enlightenment has remained largely centred on events in Europe. Professor Sebastian Conrad of the Freie Universitat Berlin will aim to challange this Euro-centrism.
