See a foreign movie: Go to a screening of L’Homme Sur Les Quais, a movie by Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck that focuses on Haiti in the early 1960s. The film is in French with English subtitles.

Go to a white party: The Sofitel is hosting the Eddie Barclay White Party tonight. Dress up in white at their Jazz ’N Fizz ladies’ night, and pay homage to the French music producer famous for hosting white-dress-only parties. The night promises to be oh-so-chic.
