Dubai to host Asia Cup

More live sport to hit Dubai in November with Twenty20 latest

The UAE will host the Asia Cup Twenty20 tournament for non Test playing countries in November this year.

“Countries like UAE, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Afghanistan and many top cricket playing countries in the region will take part in the event,” Asian Cricket Council chief executive Ashraf Ul Haq announced today.

“With three great international stadiums, UAE is also a strong contender to host the Asia Cup for Test playing countries provided the weather here is suitable at the time of our event. We will also consider UAE to stage many more Asian tournaments,” added Haq, who flew into Dubai after attending the ACC Elite Cup Under-19 tournament in Kuwait.
