Though he’s probably better known for adding a dash of boyish charm to films such as Fight Club, American Psycho and Lord of War, Jared Leto also has a tidy little sideline in teen-pleasing, ultra-moody emo-punk. As part of the new run of Yas Island Show Weekends, Jared and his not-so-merry men will be slapping on the eyeliner for a one-off appearance in the city next month – attendees can expect black fringes and rock horns aplenty, as a hormone-stricken crowd turns out to mosh along to hits from the boys’ latest album This is War.
