Captain’s Arms
Captain’s Arms is a traditional English pub with a very relaxing outdoor beer garden. You will more often than not find most tables packed, and it’s a cosy place to eat or spend an evening with friends. The menu is decidedly British with solid comfort food options, such as fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. Daily happy hour is from 5pm-7pm. This is one of the more popular pubs in Abu Dhabi mainly because the outdoor seating provides a cool atmosphere.

The Beachcomber
The Beachcomber is situated directly next to the beach at Sheraton Abu Dhabi’s private lagoon. This is the perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy a beverage away from the busy city. The chilled out ambience is perfect for an after-work catch up with friends and a great place to take a date. A real variety of people frequent The Beachcomber – mainly to smoke shisha, apparently, but also to try the flavoursome tapas, paella and Spanish-lite main dishes from nearby Bravo restaurant.

Situated at the very chic Souk Qaryat Al Beri, Left Bank is a very inviting venue. Sitting outside will see you lapping up the view of the creek looking out over the Grand Mosque. With very cool decor that mixes understated modern with an old sci-fi flick, this is the perfect place to unwind with one of their imaginative beverages. Left Bank has attentive waiters who will make sure you don’t go thirsty. This venue really is a gem and a must-visit in Abu Dhabi.
