Deadmau5 album review

>album title goes here<

Don’t worry, Time Out’s sub-editors aren’t all lazing on the beach – this is the actual name of the Canadian star’s sixth album. It’s a lazy title, fit for a lazy record, sadly. ‘Take Care of the Proper Paperwork’ shows how playing to huge stadia leads to pomposity (an electro tune that refuses to ‘drop’), while poppy fare featuring Imogen Heap won’t make fans reach for their glow-sticks. Dance musicians need to constantly innovate or they die. This mau5 isn’t entirely dead, but is looking bereft of life.
