It’s normally the weekend the whole capital (and beyond) is gearing up for, and thousands of people aren’t normally donning their lanyards in anticipation only of the high-speed thrills.
The all-star gigs that make up the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix’s rocking Yasalam After-Race concert series are traditionally some of the biggest gigs of the year, across the United Arab Emirates.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 weekend returns from December 10 to 13 this year, but while we won’t be racing to the front of the du Arena (the races are closed to all but a handful of spectators, and no concerts will take place), we’ve got time to reflect on some of the absolutely huge names that have previously played the Yasalam After-Race series.
And what better way to reminisce on over a decade of sporting and musical brilliance, than with a Time Out-curated playlist featuring some of the huge talent we’ve rocked out to in the du Arena over the years.
Eclectic listening? You bet.
Tune in below.
