Join a massive house and techno party in Abu Dhabi

Boogie Box is back with a stellar anniversary event

Quality music, a booming sound system and a shared experience on the dance floor. Sound good?

There’s been something missing from our lives since the last time we attended Boogie Box in early 2020. Ever since it closed we’ve been itching to boogie, and wondering when we can get back on that iconic dance floor.

The time is sooner than you might think, since the Boogie Box 10 Year Anniversary Party is happening at Manarat Al Saadiyat on Thursday November 25. The even better news? The dance floor will be open, meaning guests can dance (you heard us).

The party goes from 9pm to 4am. Tickets are Dhs75 for early birds, Dhs125 for two people and Dhs150 if you buy them at the door. Tickets will be on sale on Platinum List on Thursday November 11 (mark your calendars).

The last year and a half have been difficult for music lovers. If you’re anything like us, you’ve been desperate to escape onto the dance floor. Boogie Box is music-centred and inclusive, setting the stage and letting the music speak for itself. It has helped foster a real community of house and techno lovers in the capital.

For the 10th year anniversary, Boogie Box is taking over Manarat Al Saadiyat and we’re all invited to celebrate.

Wondering who will be there? On the roster are top local and regional DJs. Those familiar with the event will recognise the sounds of resident Cyrill Reaidy and Shadi Megallaa. Cyrill’s warm-up sets hook you with calculated and ethereal qualities, while Shadi shares his tastes across house, dub, electronic and other musical spectrums.

Residents Ricardo de Meneses and Tristan Girault team up with Dubai-based artist Maks, offering minimal and micro-house interpretations designed to keep the dancefloor moving.

Closing the night, Boogie Box head co-founder and creative director Hassan Alwan will play back-to-back with Beirut-based DJ Ronin (The Ballroom Blitz), who has been an integral part in the Beirut electronic music scene.

You can also expect peak-time surprises ranging from dub-techno, bass prototype, UK sound-system and house-stompers.

You will need a valid 96-hour PCR test and green pass status on the Al Hosn App to enter.

We’ll see you on the dance floor.

Dhs75 (early bird), Dhs125 (2 tickets), Dhs150 (at the door). Manarat Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island.
