You can live out all your Golden Age of Hollywood fantasies at the Shangri-La Hotel’s New Year’s Eve gala dinner this year. There’ll be a buffet for you to enjoy while you’re entertained by the live band Soul Beat who have travelled all the way from the UK. Once the clock strikes midnight, you’ll get to enjoy a fireworks show over the canal, too. If you book before December 15, you can get Dhs100 off per adult.

Get dressed up to the nines for this classy event on Saadiyat Island. The black-tie masked gala dinner will take over The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort’s Regal Ballroom, which will be studded with bars offering creative mixed beverages and there’ll be a fantastic spread of food from the hotel’s expert chefs. Music will be provided by the 11-piece Ambassador Band, who come from UK. As it gets towards midnight you can expect to take your place on the sea view terrace for the countdown into 2020, which will be celebrated with a spectacular firework show and followed by music from a DJ playing the very best in urban beats.
