Likely Eid Al Adha dates announced in the UAE

Three day holiday on the way for employees

The likely dates for Eid Al Adha in the UAE have been announced by the International Astronomical Centre in Abu Dhabi.

The holiday is expected to fall on Sunday August 11 in the UAE.

A three day holiday, from Sunday 11 to Tuesday 13, will follow the official announcement.

Confirmation of public and private sector holiday will be announced in the coming weeks.

Many public holidays are based around the sighting of the moon, so exact dates cannot be confirmed until closer to the time.
