As we watch driverless cars edge closer to reality and the possibility of drones carrying out deliveries it was only natural that the two would meet in the middle at some point.
Online retailer Noon.com has signed an MoU with Chinese firm Neolix with the aim of bringing driverless technology to the UAE.
Trials are expected to begin in the next few weeks and if all goes well you could see your online purchases from the retailer arriving at your door via a driverless vehicle sometime soon.
According to Noon.com the introduction of the new technology could reduce 90 percent of the costs associated deliveries.
