The UAE made history last week when the first Emirati astronaut successfully launched into space.
Hazza Al Mansoori has spent a week on board the International Space Station as part of the UAE’s first space mission.
During the mission Al Mansoori carried out 16 scientific experiments and he is now set to return to terra firma today (Friday October 3).
People from across the UAE gathered to watch as he launched into space on Wednesday September 25 and now screenings are set to take place across the capital so you can watch as the UAE astronaut returns from his mission.
The National Media Council are holding screening in a number of malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and they’re completely free and open to the public.
You can head to Novo Cinemas at the Mall at World trade Center or at Vox Cinemas in Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain and Yas Mall for the screening, taking place from 2.45pm to 4.45pm.
The landing is scheduled to take place around 4pm, but times may change.
It’s set to be another historic day in the history of the UAE.
