A new mall is set to open in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa City in summer 2020

Another shopping destination in on the way

It’s fair to say that we’re not short of shopping destinations in Abu Dhabi.

Nearly every area of the city is home to a spot where you can indulge in a dose of retail therapy and now Khalifa City is about to get in on the action.

Forsan Central Mall, set to open in August 2020, will feature 89 retail stores, 22 food and beverage outlets, a nine-screen cinema, an indoor garden, entertainment area and a Lulu Hypermarket with a new design concept.

The shopping centre is designed to resemble a bamboo forest and offer a ‘restful garden’ for residents in Khalifa City and from all over the city to relax and shop.

“Forsan Central Mall’s strategic location in the heart of Khalifa city, nature-inspired ambience, extensive retail offering, unique dining concepts, iconic experiences at the family entertainment centre and the state-of-the-art cinema will keep residents and visitors engaged and entertained all year round and offer every convenience at the doorstep,” said Wajeb Al Khoury, director of Line Investments and Property LLC.

Forsan Central Mall is said to be 70 percent complete and will hand over to tenant in the first quarter of 2020 ahead of its grand opening later in the summer.
