Celebrating the capital’s community, Abu Dhabi Government has launched a new platform, Abu Dhabi Story.
The social media channel, on Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, will share a snapshot of the lives of those who live in the UAE’s multicultural society.
It aims to share stories of people who are pushing the boundaries, promoting diversity and celebrating community.
First up, the focus is on Dorian Rodgers, an educator who launched the spoken word event Rooftop Rhythms and Emirati Ahmed Al Blooshi from Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Khawla Barley, founder of Goals UAE, an organization that provides recreational activities for people of determination, will also feature in coming weeks.
“The channel will amplify authentic stories and share inspirational untold stories of people, places and communities of Abu Dhabi,” said HE Maryam Eid Al Mheiri, director general of the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office.
“Speaking to who we are, what we believe, and where we are going. Stories that celebrate the people, personalities and hidden gems of our emirate.”
