Dubai rolls out medicine home delivery across UAE

Dawa’ee medicine delivery expands to help those who can’t leave home

Dubai Health Authority has expanded its medicine home delivery service Dawa’ee to cover the entirety of the UAE, following greater demand for home services as the country seeks to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

For elders or people of determination who have a valid ENAYA or SAADA health insurance programme membership, the DHA will deliver medication so those who are most at risk from the virus don’t need to leave their houses and can remain at home.

The service first launched last December, and sees a specialist pharmacist make home visits to provide advice on medication and counselling where needed.

The service has been expanded thanks to a partnership with Talabat, which helps to make deliveries using its expansive network.

Medication will be available for delivery 24/7 around the UAE from Dawa’ee pharmacy by heading to www.dha.gov.ae.
