All UAE residents are being advised to self-isolate to prevent the spread of coronavirus .
A national disinfection programme is ongoing, drive-through testing centres have opened across the country and a number of fines and penalties have been announced for those who violate government guidelines.
Residents are advised to stay at home and only venture outdoors for food supplies, medicine or for emergencies.

For those who must go out, The Department of Municipalities and Transport has announced that Mawaqif parking fees will be suspended until further notice.
Parking fees had originally been suspended for a period of three weeks, but this has now been extended.
All Mawaqif parking bays will be free of charge for those going out for essential supplies and those who live next to Mawaqif parking lots.
