Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways unveils bespoke Man City shirt ahead of Premier League restart

The top recognizes global efforts against COVID-19

Etihad Airways together with Manchester City has unveiled a bespoke match-day jersey ahead of the return of the Premier League.

The new shirt was made to recognise the global efforts undertaken to recover from the spread of COVID-19.

In place of the Etihad logo on the front it will feature the Cityzens Giving For Recovery logo for the 12-month campaign that helps communities around the world recover. It provides support directly to nine recovery-linked projects around the world, fundraising and the use of club facilities and resources.

“Giving back to the community is a priority for Etihad, and a commitment we take seriously as an organization,” said Robin Kamark, CCO at Etihad Aviation Group.

“As we navigate our way through a new world, recovery is paramount to us getting back on our feet, and restarting again, stronger than before.

“To support the ’Cityzens Giving For Recovery’ campaign, we’ve committed our front of shirt branding space for Manchester City’s return game of the English Premier League, a significant gesture that we know will resonate with fans across the world.

“We value the decade-long partnership we’ve shared with Manchester City, and are excited to continue working together throughout the campaign to support communities in their recovery efforts.”
