British comedian Jack Whitehall has announced a second Dubai gig for January 2021.
Whitehall will now be performing at Dubai World Trade Centre on both January 13 and January 14, so if you want to have a laugh in the first month of the year, you know what to do.
Whitehall is in Dubai for his Stood Up Tour as part of Dubai Shopping Festival.
“It will have been nearly a year since in between my last tour date and this show in Dubai,” Whitehall told Time Out. “It’s a place that I really wanted to come and do a show, and we had planned to do Du-bai as the final stop off on the tour and then the pandemic came, and obviously threw a bit of a span-ner in the works.
“Finally for January 2021 we have been able to reschedule that date – meaning I will have done the longest tour in the history of comedy – albeit with quite a big gap between the penultimate and final gig.”
Two types of tickets are now available including grandstand seating and floor seating with prices starting from Dhs295.
To ensure the safety of the audience, strict social distancing and health and safety measures will be in place, so tickets are available in groups of two, four and six only. Masks are mandatory and tempera-ture checks will be taken.
Comedy fans will know him from both his stand-up as well as from TV shows including Fresh Meat, Decline & Fall and Bad Education as well for his appearances in A League of Their Own, Mock The Week and 8 out of 10 Cats.
