Here are the biggest food trends in the UAE right now

Deliveroo has carried out a survey on eating habits

Food, glorious food, we love it and eat it at any opportunity.

Luckily there are loads of amazing places to eat in the UAE that could satisfy any appetite, even ours.

Shedding a light on how food trends have evolved in the country, Deliveroo has carried out a survey in the UAE.

According to the survey clean eating will be big in 2021 so it’s good news if you’re taking part in veganuary or watching what you’re eating.

The survey claims that 45 percent of people are cutting down on food waste, 43 percent are looking to use more sustainable and plant-based foods and 29 percent expect vegan venues and dishes to surge in popularity in 2021.

Looking to support the local economy, a further 28 percent said they want to shop local this year and 36 percent want to try and eat seasonal vegetables.

Changing when we eat, 39 percent are looking to eat breakfast earlier in 2021 and 30 percent are aiming to have an earlier dinner.

We love supporting local producers and are apply to eat seasonal produce.

Also, if we’re having breakfast and dinner earlier then maybe there’s room to fit in a fourth big meal of the day, right?
Just us? Ok, never mind, we’ll eat alone.
