Abu Dhabi launches new campaign to attract creative talent to the UAE

Thrive in Abu Dhabi targets creative professionals

We all know that Abu Dhabi is an amazing place to live and work. You don’t have to tell us, this city is home.

Opening up the city to more people around the world, a new campaign has been launched to attract talented professionals to the UAE capital.

The Thrive in Abu Dhabi campaign aims to develop key areas in Abu Dhabi including culture, healthcare, media and entertainment, research and development and real estate.

Encouraging key workers to come and set up in Abu Dhabi, new long-term visas have been launched to invite talented professionals and their families to the country.

Long-term visas are already available for professionals working in a variety of sectors including sport, healthcare, science, education and engineering.

Now, a new creative visa has been launched to attract those who can ‘preserve and sustain Abu Dhabi’s cultural heritage, increase awareness of, and engagement with, cultural heritage and the arts, stimulate creativity as a driver for education and social change, build and enable capacity in Abu Dhabi’s culture sector and contribute to economic growth and diversification’.

The Thrive in Abu Dhabi campaign is also seeking students with a PHD or displaying scientific acumen, innovators, those with skills in AI, coding and epidemiology, entrepreneurs, tourism and real estate.

Recently, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) also announced that UAE citizens, residents and non-resident can apply for freelance licenses in the UAE.
