Maybe you’re planning a trip to the desert and you need a bigger car, or you can’t quite commit to buying one yet.
Whatever your reason, if you’re looking for a hire car in the UAE, Amazon is now providing rentals in addition to its other services – and the deals look pretty great.
The service is now available for customers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.
You can book for anytime between one day and a month, and deliveries will be made directly to your doorstep in as little as three hours after booking. There is no security deposit, and rates are as low as Dhs44 per day.
To book you need to log into an Amazon account. You then select “automotive services” under the Home Services section and select the car you want and the timings.
You can also use the search bar and search “car rental service” to access the options.
You will need to provide your Emirates ID, driver’s license, passport visa page, and credit card information to make the booking. After three hours, the car and keys will be dropped at a location of your choice.
Choose from a big SUV, such as a Nissan Pathfinder; hatchbacks like the Kia Picanto; mid-size SUVs inlcuding the Mitsubishi ASX; or a small sedan, such as the Nissan Sunny (all subject to availability).
Amazon’s Home Services also allows you to book beauty appointments and cleaning services and schedule maintenance work, TV installations, and other assembly jobs.
