Sharjah fireworks display announced for Eid Al Adha

There’s also free cinema screenings

Are looking to kick off Eid Al Adha with a bang?

Of course you are, and two of Arada’s fatest-growing communities are only too happy to oblige.

Beginning on the first night of Eid Al Adha (Tuesday July 20) at 8pm, sky pyrotechnics will light up the night sky for three days in the popular entertainment destination of Madar Aljada and the lifestyle hub of Nasma Central in Al Suyouh district.

Each sky-boom demonstration will explode into life at 8pm every evening.

But that’s not all.

Once the dust has finally settled (or is it powder?), guests can kick-back and watch a flick at the drive-in cinema in Madar.

Running from Sunday July 18 to Saturday July 24 (times vary), a classic blockbuster will be beamed out at 8.30pm on the three days of Eid Al Adha and, what’s more, it will cost you absolutely zip.

But what about cine snacks and drinks you ask?

Zad, the popular food truck park and picnic area, will be providing visitors with the necessary sustenance to enjoy the fireworks and movie throughout the evening.

The area in New Sharjah has been welcoming on average more than 100,000 visitors a month since it opened its doors back in February 2020.

Preferring to stay in Nasma Central for the evening?

Check out the vibrant community centre and park which contains lush green spaces, a football pitch, basketball and tennis courts, and a 15m man-made hill – ideal for catching all the night’s sky’s entertainment.

The only tough decision you have to make is which area will you plump for.

Now, where’s our matches?

Free. Tue Jul 20-Thu Jul 22 starts 8pm. Aljada and Nasma, Arada, New Sharjah.
