Catch the world-famous flying squadron in October

The world-famous flying squadron, The Red Arrows, will soar above Expo 2020 Dubai to mark the opening of the world’s greatest show.

Love planes? If you’re looking to see something seriously cool, you don’t want to miss this aerobatic display.

The Red Arrows are putting on a spectacular 20-minute show at the Expo 2020 Dubai site on Friday October 8 at 4pm. The display will include brand-new moves and some of the biggest displays in the team’s inventory. (We hear there’s going to be a move where nine jets roll upside down just six feet apart from each other).

This show is part of a wider visit to the UAE, to celebrate the UAE’s 50th anniversary. Fans in the capital can catch The Red Arrows on the Abu Dhabi Corniche at 4.30pm on Tuesday October 5.

In Dubai the performance supports the UK’s role at Expo 2020 Dubai, and highlights some of what you can expect to find at the UK Pavilion.

Before the Red Arrows’ display, engineers and pilots will host a STEM engagement event at the UK Pavilion to showcase what goes into an aerobic display. Team pilots will also be appearing at the UK Pavilion to meet the public.

Squadron Leader Tom Bould, the Red Arrows’ Team Leader, who flies at the front of the nine-aircraft formation as Red 1, said: “Through our trademark combination of precision formations and exciting, agile flying, the Red Arrows’ displays in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be a wonderful, colourful chance for the team to help mark the UAE’s 50th anniversary celebrations and look forward to the next 50.”

Sounds like it’s time to look towards the skies.

Red Arrows display Fri October 8 at 4pm. Expo access Dhs95 (one day), Dhs195 (30 days), Dhs495 (six months).
